University of North Texas alumni and faculty members won or collaborated on projects that won awards across three categories at the on Sunday (April 3).
Alumnus Daniel Fosse collaborated on the Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga album, 鈥淟ove for Sale,鈥 which took home the awards in the Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album categories.
Alumni Lyle Mays, Gary Eckert and Rosana Eckert, who is a faculty member, worked together on 鈥淓berhard,鈥 which won for Best Instrumental Composition.
Over the years, alumni, faculty and staff from the globally respected College of Music have worked on numerous Grammy-nominated and Grammy-winning projects. This year, more than a dozen or collaborated on nominated projects.
